How to Access Medicare Rebates
Medicare rebates of $89.50 are available for eligible clients for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
To access your rebate, simply book an appointment with your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician and request a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral to us. Your GP will either give you a hard copy of the plan & referral, scan and email or fax it over to us on: (03) 7054 3660.
We require your MHTP and referral prior to your first appointment with us.
How to Refer
No GP referral is needed to see us - you can self-refer at any time. Simply call or email us and we'll send you our intake form to get started.
Payments
Your card details will be collected on your intake form before your first session. On the day of your appointment your card will be charged at 9:00am.
If you're eligible for a Medicare rebate, we process this on the same day as your session through Halaxy, our practice management system. Your rebate will be returned automatically to your nominated bank account — no need to visit Medicare yourself.
Please note: a small processing fee applies (maximum 1.9% + $1 per transaction) to cover the cost of same-day rebate processing.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens, and we always aim to be fair and flexible where we can. That said, we do have a cancellation policy in place to respect the time reserved for your appointment and to support the sustainability of the practice.
Cancellations with more than 2 business days notice — no charge
Cancellations within 2 business days — 50% of the session fee
Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows — full session fee applies
